A 1950s cabin gets a bright, inviting makeover

This lovely cabin was built in the 1950s and then expertly renovated in 2014. The open-concept space features a large living room and dining area, a kitchen, plus a principal bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. The high ceilings make the small cabin feel airy and bright, while the all-white interior make the decades-old space look decidedly contemporary. In the 1980s, a guest house was built on the property to provide extra space. It has its own principal bedroom, an en-suite bathroom, a laundry room and its own deck. Overall, the two houses can sleep eight people—the perfect amount for a family vacation.
